Generation Z

The generation reaching adulthood in the second decade of the 21st century, perceived as being familiar with the Internet from a very young age.

 

 

 
  • As in each new generation, their expectations regarding the labor market and the business world change concerning their predecessors. What does this new generation expect?

     

  • Internet is the new public sphere. Even when you post something and set it in private mode, there are good chances that someone can perform breach of access and use the information against you. The case can get worse, as there is a popular saying that ‘once something is posted on the internet, it will be there forever.’ It means that even when you have deleted the original posts, there are possibilities that they will stay on the net and you have no control over them.


  • Now more than ever, experts are being squeezed and attracted to somebody, and rightly so: in Thailand, active employees are more credible speakers of the company than the executives or the company itself. So can a job seeker's impressive social presence have a positive impact on the recruitment decision?


  • No matter if you change your job or start your new career, after application and selection process there is still a hurdle to overcome: the first working day in a new company. Right at the beginning: A certain nervousness is completely normal.

Generation Z

Generation Z is the demographic cohort after the Millennials. Demographers and researchers typically use the mid-1990s to early-2000s as starting birth years. There is little consensus regarding ending birth years.
